Bob Sr.

The father figure of the family. Bob has worked his entire career in various areas of health care data processing and customer service. He currently works for Licking County Alcoholism Prevention Program, a chemical dependency treatment center in Newark, Ohio, as the Chief Financial Officer. He likes watching TV, anything about Corvettes, oldies music and visiting with his granddaughter and grandson. He had a '74 Vette until a fifteen year old kid pushed him into a wall and destroyed the dream in 1995. He still says that there WILL be another Vette in the garage someday!

Peggy

The mother figure. Peggy spent many years raising our three boys. She is currently taking it easy in our new home in Granville, Ohio. She enjoys music, spending time with our granddaughter and grandson and sleeping. It took many years, but Bob Sr. finally converted her to a couch potato after all the boys had moved out. Peggy enjoys trying to psychoanalyze EVERYTHING (but she always puts a smile on all of our faces)!

Bob Jr.

Son number 1. Bob, known as "BJ" to the family, is divorced and is the father of our favorite (although only) granddaughter. He has also been known as "Obscure Pop Culture Boy". He likes comics, all music but especially Toad the Wet Sprocket, although that band broke up and Guster (for whom he is a local distributor for their CD's). He also likes chatting on the Internet and spending time with his daughter, Kelly.

BJ works for Trans World Entertainment who has stores such as Coconuts, Camelot Music, Record Town and Saturday Matinee. His regular store is at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio - the perfect place for a guy that loves music.

BJ lives with his girlfriend and her son in Cleveland.

Ryan and Kaci

The middle son. Ry has been known to some in the family as "Spontaneous Boy". He received his Master's degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from Indiana University, following Psychology and English degrees from Ohio State.

Ry spent the fall of 1998 working for Semester at Sea as a Resident Director, traveling around the world for about three months. Ry likes writing novels/stories, camping, playing the guitar, travel (all over the world) and he has quite a collection of  baseball cards and Star Wars figures.

After Indiana and one semester working as a hall director for The University of California at Irvine, he went to work for a hostel in the Marin Headlands Hostel near Sausalito, California, where he met Kaci, whom he married on Halloween in 2000 - (see Misc Pics).

Ryan and Kaci left their jobs in Oberlin, Ohio in July of 2003 and traveled around the country for a while in their converted yellow school bus named Lola. Ryan also wrote a bi-weekly travel column, originally called "Traveling Light" but then changed to "Travels with Lola", for the Oberlin News-Tribune and Kaci also wrote some newspaper columns for The Pinnacle, a newspaper in Hollister, CA.  In September 2004, Ry and Kaci settled down in an apartment in Santa Cruz, CA, where their first child, Rory (our second grandchild) was born.  Kaci was working as an editor for a newspaper but then stayed home to take care of Rory.  Ry worked for CustomFlix, a company that makes and distributes DVDs but he and Kaci have since moved to Klamuth, California where Kaci is manager of the Redwood Hostel and Ry will be writing and working at the hostel.

Ryan had a short story published in a book titled "Italy From A Backpack" (Pearson Venture Group 2006), a short story published in the fall 2004 edition of the Heat City Review, a short adult book for children titled "The Little Veal Cutlet That Couldn't" (and some other books that can be found and purchased on LuLu.com).  He is usually working on other writing projects. Dan and Dana

The youngest son, Dan is a graduate of Syracuse University where he got a degree in Communications.   His college radio name was "Danny Force - The Excitable Boy" and he was Otto the Orange (the Syracuse University mascot) for 1-1/2 years.   After a year working in Syracuse where he was the weekend news director for CBS Television, he moved to Secaucus, New Jersey where he worked in the Acquisitions Department for MS/NBC.  Dan moved back to Ohio in the fall of 2001 where he enrolled in the College of Law at the University of Akron.

While completing his first year of law school, Dan made the decision to apply to become a Jesuit priest and he joined the Detroit Province of the Society of Jesus in August of 2002. After 1-1/2 years with the Jesuits, Dan left the Jesuits in April of 2004 to pursue a life with his 8th grade girlfriend, Dana.

Dan and Dana were married in July of 2005. Dan graduated from Ohio State Law School in 2006 and is now an attorney for the State of Ohio. He still enjoys his music, dancing and sports.

Our favorite (although only) granddaughter, Kelly, is really growing up and becoming a very beautiful young lady.   In addition to really being in to basketball and soccer, chatting on the computer and texting with her cell phone, she is an excellent student.
